About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Professional to join our team in Melbourne North. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your professional and clinical skills while expanding your leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, promoting positive changes in their lives.
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions, using evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans, ensuring effective strategies for clients.
  • Support and train colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniques, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists.
  • Meet legislative requirements by writing timely and accurate reports, maintaining high standards of documentation.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Hold an existing NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, or Behaviour Therapist.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Effective time management skills, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
