Loss Prevention Coordinator Job Overview

The Loss Prevention Coordinator is a high-level position responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of people, operations, brand, data, and assets within our Fulfillment Centers. This role operates on the front lines to provide security services efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in managing physical security through guarding services and monitoring the optimum functioning of security devices and controls.
  • Inspire performance excellence among security team members through coaching and guidance.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to stringent audit scheduling, documenting findings and communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Ensure 100% training compliance for all security guards, focusing on advanced risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • Perform initial risk assessments of site operations, proposing mitigation measures to minimize risks and improve security protocols.
  • Respond to and assist in emergency response situations, including workplace incidents and accidents.
  • Analyze data using in-house tools to detect patterns indicating theft, fraud, or abuse, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Investigate preliminary cases, recognizing root causes, constructing findings reports, and assisting in developing management action plans for process formulation and compliance.
  • Drive corrective and preventive process changes that impact shrink reduction, evaluating SLP process performance and recommending mitigation and optimization areas.
  • Collaborate with security services vendors to ensure SLA adherence and conduct training for guarding forces on SLP processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Experience in security services, asset protection, audit, risk management, and inventory control.
  • Background in warehouse or distribution center services, preferably with experience in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced computer literacy, particularly in MS Office packages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with business tools and understand business metrics.
