
Laboratory Scientist

This is a fixed term full-time day worker position with on-call requirements, working 76 hours per fortnight. Hours are negotiable and will be agreed upon with the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to Medical Scientists in the provision of diagnostic services.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform tasks associated with specimen receipt and processing.
- Generate work lists, labels, and statistics as required.
The Molecular department provides a statewide testing service across Haematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases and Public Health. The team works together to focus on development and innovation in molecular testing to serve the community's growing needs.
Working ArrangementsThe role involves variable working hours with negotiated time off. Employees work closely together to ensure effective delivery of services.
