We are seeking a skilled Compliance Operations Associate to join our team in this critical role, reporting directly to the Compliance Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Due Diligence: Conduct thorough checks on new corporate and consumer relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Investigate and evaluate unusual or suspicious transactions to prevent online fraud.
  • PEP & Sanctions Screening: Review referrals for clients and beneficiaries at registration and transactional levels to comply with Xe's policy.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyze transaction data and fraud metrics to identify trends and indicators that may assist in detecting and preventing online fraud.
  • Operational Compliance: Stay up-to-date on Xe's core business activities and provide analysis on proposed business initiatives from a compliance operations perspective.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Provide assistance and support to wider teams within Xe as needed.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for new starters and analysts on an ongoing basis.
  • Quality Control: Perform Quality Control checks on Compliance Operations Analysts to ensure consistency and accuracy while striving for continuous improvement of the compliance operations function.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess at least 3 years' experience gained working within a similar role within the FX/Payments industry or within a similar regulated organization.

Benefits

Xe offers a competitive salary range from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. Additional benefits include superannuation, healthcare, 20 days annual leave increasing with each year of service (capped at 25 days), paid day off for your birthday, discounted Euronet Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP), and Plumm Mental Health and Wellbeing support.
