Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. As part of our ICT group, you will play a key role in supporting and developing our high technology platforms across our Classified and Unclassified networks and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing, monitoring and supporting enterprise environments and infrastructures
  • Troubleshooting and resolving assigned incidents or service requests while ensuring prompt professional service
  • Supporting system installations, problem solving and testing to ensure the availability, validity and reliability of our computing environments
  • Liaising and maintaining working relationships with key staff, projects and partners to resolve issues and faults
  • Actively participating in periodic compliance audits to ensure standards and regulations are met
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience working within an infrastructure support team, or similar, supporting corporate infrastructure systems and platforms
  • Broad knowledge and experience deploying, administering and managing enterprise environments
  • Technical understanding and working knowledge of many of the following technologies: Datacenter management, Virtualisation, Scripting languages (such as Powershell), Microsoft experience, Linux (such as Debian, CentOS, Red Hat, Docker etc)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to enable effective communication and interaction with other people at appropriate levels of an organisation
  • Fundamental understanding and awareness of information security and how this is applied in operational environments
