Enterprise Growth Specialist, ANZ

The Enterprise Growth Specialist, ANZ will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive business growth within the assigned territory. This role requires a mix of farming and hunting capabilities, focusing on identifying, prospecting, and engaging reseller and distributor partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute channel strategies for distributors and resellers within the assigned territory
  • Enhance awareness of Canonical as a leading provider of Open Source solutions
  • Identify and recruit new potential partners in the assigned territory
  • Leverage personal networks and prospecting skills to engage new partners and build on existing relationships
  • Guide partners through onboarding and enablement processes
  • Collaborate with partners to develop mutually beneficial go-to-market plans and commitments
  • Arrange and deliver sales and pre-sales training to these resellers
  • Drive and manage the channel pipeline through recurring partner interactions
  • Support partner satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor and point of contact
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field or related field
  • Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market
  • Fluency in English
  • Understanding of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong follow-up skills
  • Effective negotiation skills with ability to close sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to represent the company at external events
