Configuration Manager

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to contribute to the maintenance operations for our maritime products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining tight configuration control of assets and constantly improving the effectiveness of product lifecycle support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct rapid logistics support analyses to identify areas for improvement in supply chain, maintenance, and support operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to integrate logistics considerations into product design and support planning.
  • Determine spare parts provisioning lists, publications, and training requirements.
  • Populate the S-BOM with critical candidate attributes and prepare the loading of the as-maintained (AM-BOM).
  • Monitor the configuration of the as-maintained assets and feed back critical design changes into the engineering design process.
  • Partner with engineering teams to set LSA and CM requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in technician roles in high-rigor environments (aerospace, maritime, automotive, medical devices, nuclear, etc.).
  • Experience with configuration management and product lifecycle management concepts.
  • Familiarity with distilling LSA fast-paced requirements from relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Database skills with SQL queries (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
