Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, relocate, add, change, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer telecommunications equipment and systems.
  • Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and maintain radio network systems.
  • Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile data networks and various digital networks.
  • Conduct line of sight surveys.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and meet SLA requirements.
  • Inspect completed works and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Ensure company-supplied vehicles, test equipment, tools, and PPE are maintained in a serviceable condition.
  • Assist a team of technicians/riggers to perform installation or maintenance activities efficiently, productively, and with high quality.
Requirements:
  • An unwavering commitment to safe work practices.
  • Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Industry Construction White Card.
  • Current Victorian Police check.
  • Previous experience installing and/or supporting Huawei, Nokia, and Ericsson RBS, WCDMA/LTE (preferred).
  • Knowledge of installing and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles, rooftops, and towers.
  • Basic understanding of transmission systems including PDH, SDH, DWDM, ATM, and packet-switched networks.
Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year.
