**Job Title:** After Hours Supervisor

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to assume a leadership position within our organization, overseeing the management of residences during non-business hours. As an After Hours Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient operations, providing compassionate and competent care to residents while maintaining a supportive work environment for the care team.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Resident Care: Ensuring high-quality, person-centered care is delivered to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident.
  • Medication Management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents.
  • Families Communication: Communicating effectively with families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.

**Requirements:**
AHPRA Registration
Minimum 2 years of experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse
Grade 5, Registered Nurse
Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC
Expertise in medication administration and wound care
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation
