Job Title: Senior Associate

This role is part of our Natural Resources sector team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily transaction activities;
  • Serve as primary client liaison when required;
  • Support and report to senior members of the deal team;
  • Develop business initiatives;
  • Train junior staff and coordinate tasks;
  • Liaise with other teams and offices overseas;
  • Oversight and delivery of high-quality transactions and pitch materials;
  • Review research analytics.

Transactions will be undertaken across various sectors, including acquisitions, takeovers, mergers, divestments, capital raisings, and restructurings within Natural Resources.

Requirements:
  • Strong academic background at secondary and tertiary levels
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • Relevant industry experience gained in a Natural Resources team or local/global investment bank, chartered accounting, or management consulting firm
  • Transaction management and execution experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate qualifications (e.g. CFA or CA)
