Job Opportunity

Are you a seasoned search marketing professional with experience in performance media strategy? We are seeking a Director of Performance Media to lead our Newcastle team and drive growth through search and digital channels.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of search marketing experience, including performance media strategy, forecasting results, and channel and budget recommendations. They should also be proficient in using optimisation software such as SA360, possess advanced Excel skills, and have experience mentoring and training staff on performance media.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and growing the Newcastle media team and the performance media product, focusing on SEM and overall performance/digital product.
  • Building strong relationships with top tier clients and delivering high levels of service by providing search solutions that grow their business through performance channels.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver day-to-day activities, owning the output of performance marketing strategies with a core focus on search.
  • Training and upskilling teams on performance best practices across digital platforms and helping deliver the best SEM and performance media product to clients as part of a thriving agency.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Understanding of performance ad platforms and bid management tools (e.g., Ads Manager, SA360, DV360)
  • Google and Bing accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically, with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly productive and analytical disposition.
