Senior Media Buying Manager Job

We are seeking a Senior Media Buying Manager to join our media team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of agency experience in traditional and digital media planning and buying.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in managing planning, buying, trafficking, and reporting across TV, outdoor, radio, print, social media, digital display, video, native, and search marketing.

They will also oversee daily account and team management, actively participating in campaign execution. A humble, approachable leadership style and dedication to quality work are important.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and confidently presenting media strategies, channel recommendations, measurement frameworks, and key metrics.
  • Analyzing audience behaviors and media consumption to recommend optimal channel mixes.
  • Translating these recommendations into actionable media plans for the team to implement and optimize.
  • Managing and maintaining proficiency with media tools such as SpectraMD, Roy Morgan Asteroid, Google Marketing Platform, and Datorama.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in media planning and buying.
  • Expertise in both traditional and digital media.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Proficiency in media analytics and data interpretation.
