Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the Newcastle media team and the performance media product, with a focus on SEM and overall performance/digital product.
  • Build strong relationships with top tier clients and provide high levels of service by delivering search solutions that grow their business through performance channels.
  • Be hands-on in the role during growth, working in ad platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver day-to-day activities.
  • Own the output of performance marketing strategies with a core focus on search; train and upskill teams on performance best practices across digital platforms.
  • Help deliver the best SEM and performance media product to clients as part of a thriving agency.
Experience
  • At least 8+ years' search marketing experience
  • Performance media strategy including performance audits, forecasting results and channel and budget recommendations
  • Experience with search & overall performance media reporting — analyse data, make optimisation decisions, and clearly articulate results and optimisations to clients
  • Experience using relevant optimisation software (e.g., SA360)
  • Highly analytical disposition and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in mentoring and training staff on performance media
Skills
  • Understanding of performance ad platforms and bid management tools (e.g., Ads Manager, SA360, DV360)
  • Google and Bing accredited
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Understanding of website backend to set up tracking and conversion goals
  • Problem solving & critical thinking
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Highly productive
