Job Description:
This role is responsible for optimising the performance of secondary assets through analysis, development, and implementation of cost-effective asset management plans, policies, and standards.
Coverage includes the United Energy, CitiPower, and Powercor electricity distribution networks, as well as Australian Energy Operations and Powercor Transmission assets.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain engineering policies, standards, technical specifications, processes, and procedures for secondary assets.Prepare and review technical scopes of work for projects and other works on the network.Develop and maintain lifecycle management plans and long-term investment plans for secondary assets.Follow a risk framework aligned with the corporate risk model for assessing risks associated with asset operation.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business outcomes.Prepare asset and business reports as required for internal and external stakeholders.Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Tertiary Qualification: Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Registration: Mandatory registration as a Registered engineer with the Victorian Business Licensing Authority
Experience: Demonstrated experience in asset management and/or protection & control applications
Skills: Technical report writing skills, knowledge of protection & control schemes, utility-grade standards, SCADA systems, and communication protocols
Desirable Skills: Experience with industrial IP networking and data set querying
