We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in an exciting time of growth and expansion nationally.

This autonomous role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our NDIS participants, while also developing your own career pathway.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, and be passionate about promoting quality of life for individuals with complex needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting individuals and their families to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Developing Behaviour Support Plans utilising a positive behaviour support framework.
  • Collaborating within a small cohesive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year's Behaviour Support experience (at CORE level or Above).
  • Relevant qualification in allied health or social care, and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body.
  • Eligibility to register with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a PBS Practitioner.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing & delivering positive behaviour support plans & training to staff and other key stakeholders.
  • A compassionate and supportive demeanour.
  • A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one).
