Distribution and Logistics Expert Sought

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Distribution and Logistics professional to oversee the movement of goods across Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Fulfilment, Logistics and Distribution (Retail, Apparel, Footwear, FMCG would be advantageous).

A key requirement is the ability to communicate effectively, maintain high attention to detail and manage multiple reports daily/weekly.

The role involves working closely with international teams, 3PL partners, national distributors and small independent retailers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring seamless distribution processes and acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to stock and distribution.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with freight processes, purchasing, warehousing and distribution
