About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Macquarie Asset Management team in Sydney. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic HR advice and support to business leaders across the full employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to business leaders on people matters, including talent management, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Collaborate with the global MAM HR team and Centres of Excellence to develop people activities, business initiatives, and Group-wide programs.
  • Support the delivery of HR services, including year-end remuneration and promotion processes, and talent and diversity strategies.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, combined with demonstrable HR business partner experience within the global banking/financial services, or private equity sectors.
  • A strong understanding of business issues and a commercial mindset, with a proven record of delivery within a fast-paced, high-performing, global matrixed organisation.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to engage, collaborate, influence, and provide coaching at all levels across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Data-led approach with ability to relate commercial and people insights to inform decision making, through well-developed analytical capability.
  • Demonstrated resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability.
