Visitor Services Guide Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of Sydney's most beautiful and environmentally rich areas.

As a Visitor Services Guide, you will be the welcoming face of the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, greeting guests, assisting with visitor enquiries, leading small group activities, and supporting events, education programs, and weekend operations.

The role involves providing friendly and informative customer service to visitors, assisting with public programs, tours, and events, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting the day-to-day running of the Visitor Centre.

Key Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • You should be enthusiastic and confident working with the public (including children and families).
  • Interest in Australian native plants and local wildlife is desired, but training will be provided.
  • Availability to work weekends and school holidays as required is necessary.
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain is mandatory.
  • A current First Aid Certificate is also required.
  • A Class C Drivers Licence is necessary for the role.
  • Certificate III in Captive Animals or fauna care experience is desired but not essential.
