Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guest Experience Host to join our team at the Sydney Tower Eye.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to delivering world-class guest service. As a Guest Experience Host, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming guests to the attraction and assisting with sales at the admissions entry point
  • Selling products at our gift shop and F&B store
  • Preparing coffee and tea
  • Independently running SKYWALK tours from Sydney's Ultimate Viewpoint
  • Using a DSLR camera to take memorable photos of our guests on SKYWALK
  • Operating Virtual Reality simulator experience
  • Independently running engaging tours on our Observation Deck

Key Expectations

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Genuine guest interaction in all areas of the attraction, creating connections with people from all over the world
  • Be adaptable and remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Work in all types of weather
  • Work in all departments across the attraction
  • Have at least 3 days availability and be able to work as early as 9am and as late as 9:30pm
  • Clearly and effectively communicate and minimise all risk of misunderstandings where possible
  • Adhere to our core values through language, behaviour and actions
  • Follow all health, safety and security practices
  • Problem solve in various dynamic situations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of tourism and attractions industry
