We are seeking a skilled and experienced Philanthropy Professional to lead our Major Gifts program.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about philanthropy and has a proven track record of securing major donations from high net worth individuals.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and experience using CRM systems.
Key responsibilities include acquiring new Major Donors / PAFs, cultivating existing donor relationships, building relations through phone calls, meetings and events, working closely with the communications team and creating engaging propositions and proposals.
Requirements:
- Ability to build positive, long-lasting relationships with high net worth / philanthropic individuals
- Excellent written & verbal presentation skills
- Self-motivated - experience working in a financially target-driven role
- Experience using CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and input accuracy
- Demonstrated experience in writing detailed, creative documents/proposals/pitches
- Team player - collaborative & approachable
- Entrepreneurial & proactive
- Passionate about Australia's native wildlife & furry friends
