Staffing Facilitators play a pivotal role within our After-Hours Services Unit, providing critical support to residential care and home-based programs for young people with complex needs.
This unit offers a responsive service catering to the needs of lead tenant and case management programs. Additionally, it operates a therapeutically oriented program for young people in protective placements.
As a Staffing Facilitator, you will collaborate closely with the Coordinator, based at our Preston site. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and support to young people facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as current issues affecting Aboriginal children, young people, and their families
For success in this role, you should possess:
- A deep understanding of youth services and residential care
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
