Job Overview

This is a role that requires individuals with expertise in radio communications and fleet management systems. They will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and timely maintenance to site communications and fleet management systems, as well as engaging with vendors, conducting routine surveys, and completing scheduled installations and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with radio communications and fleet management systems, knowledge of troubleshooting and fault finding on these systems, and previous experience working in the mining environment or industries. Additionally, they should possess strong documentation and certification skills, as well as excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

  • About This Role:
  • Assist with the delivery of services and support of Radio and Data Systems at one of our valued customer's remote mine sites
  • Acting as part of the WA technical team, you will assist with the installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure supporting site communications and fleet management systems
  • You will be required to work within a FIFO roster and engage with various stakeholders to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are maintained
  • About You:
  • Previous experience working with radio communications and fleet management systems
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and fault finding on fleet management and site communications systems
  • Previous experience working in the mining environment/industries
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work within a team
  • Able to provide documentation/certificates indicating previous radio communications training
  • Ideally experienced with Motorola, Tait, and Hytera radio systems
