**About The Role**:
Acting as part of the WA technical team, the role is to assist with the delivery of services and support of Radio and Data Systems at one of our valued customer's remote mine sites. This is a FIFO role with 12-hour days and an even time roster of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. As this is a customer facing role the Radio and Data Services site technician must ensure that our standards of efficiency, safety and quality are maintained. The role includes the maintenance of the installed DMR radio network, fleet management system and associated network; along with the installation of new mobile radios and associated peripheral equipment into Light/Heavy vehicles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide safe, effective, and timely maintenance to the site communications and fleet management systems.
- Installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure supporting site communications and fleet management systems.
- Engagement with vendors.
- Conduct routine Comms / Wifi surveys - Produce reports where necessary.
- Complete all scheduled installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment, light vehicles, and site communication assets.
- Liaise with planning group to ensure the planned maintenance schedule is implemented.
- Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with company safety policy and procedures.
**About You**
- Previous experience working with radio communications and fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and fault finding on fleet management and site communications systems.
- Previous experience working in the mining environment / industries.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to work within a team.
- Able to provide documentation / certificates indicating previous radio communications training.
- Ideally experience with Motorola, Tait, and Hytera radio systems.
- Demonstrated experience operating in JHA / Permit based work environments.
- Supervisory experience desirable (min 12 months).
- Intimate knowledge of UHF radio systems.
- Microwave experience favourable.
- Experienced working at heights.
- Cert IV Diploma of Radio Communications or equivalent trade certificate.
- White Construction Card.
- 'Provide First Aid' Certificate.
- High Risk Workers Licence - Elevated Work Platform **(must have)** and Rigging**:

- Work Safely at Heights.
- Australian (C Class) drivers licence for a manual vehicle.
- You must have the right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
