Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radio Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for executing technical services and maintenance contracts as required by our clients and their customers.

Your primary duties will include installing, maintaining, programming, and providing technical support for a variety of communications equipment and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Designing, installing, configuring, and repairing of radio equipment.
  • Working with conventional and trunked 2 way radio systems.

Requirements include a Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering, or related fields of study, along with previous industry experience preferably in both workshop and field maintenance roles.

Wireless, IP networking, PAGA, telephony, and microwave experience is highly desirable, as well as experience with digital technologies such as DMR, P25, Tetra, NXDN, and conventional analogue.

A current high-risk license and confidence working at heights, with EWPs, and climbing tower are also essential.
