Executive Director of Operations

Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer leads the claims and administration operations of the business, driving excellent customer service while guiding and developing leadership team members and inspiring staff.
This role ensures the needs of MAIB claimants are met and contributes to a sustainable compulsory third-party motor insurance scheme for Tasmanians.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO provides high-level leadership and oversight of claims, administration, and corporate services.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive operational experience with a track record of driving excellent client service and best practices in claims, administration, and corporate management.
- A background in Insurance, Human Services (Aged Care, NDIS, etc.), or aligned industries.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Insurance, Business, Health, Social Science/Policy, or other relevant disciplines) and/or extensive senior management qualifications and experience.
