Job Overview:

This role focuses on delivering high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.

  • Deliver projects from concept design to construction within specified timeframe, with support from experienced engineering teams.
  • Assist in client management with existing clients and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop graduate/junior engineers within the team in alignment with company goals and strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution, and 1-3 years post-grad structural design experience in residential or building industry.

Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous) is also required.

A strong ability to interpret Australian standards and building codes, and design in accordance with AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, NCC etc. is essential.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 1-3 years post-grad structural design experience in residential or building industry
  • Experience in design using timber structures, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and designs of waffle, raft, suspended slab, retaining walls etc
  • Proficient in engineering design software tools
  • Strong ability to interpret Australian standards and building codes
