Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced structural design professional to perform detailed structural design, analysis, and project management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative structural designs and performing thorough calculations to meet industry standards and specifications
  • Conducting comprehensive structural analysis using advanced software and hand calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements
  • Assessing the impact of loads, stresses, and other factors on structures to ensure optimal performance and durability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations
  • Providing expert technical advice and guidance to construction teams during the project phase
  • Evaluating construction progress against design specifications and standards to ensure compliance and quality
  • Ensuring all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes
  • Staying up-to-date on industry advancements, building codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Preparing and presenting detailed engineering reports, drawings, and documentation for review and approval
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6 years experience in structural engineering, preferably with building structures
  • Strong knowledge and application of Australian and International Standards
  • Experience with advanced design software such as Spacegass and equivalent tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and prioritization skills
