
Pools Operations Manager

Aquatic Services are seeking a proactive and people-focused Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and community-centred operation of aquatic and health facilities.
Responsibilities:- Oversight of aquatic and health facility operations and management.
- Supervision of high-quality, safe, and community-focused aquatic services delivery.
- Management of contracts and service providers for optimal performance.
- Maintenance of operational standards across the Shire.
- Diploma qualification in Business Management, Sports and Recreation or relevant discipline.
- Solid experience in aquatic centre operations and maintenance.
- Contract management expertise including contract documentation, tender processes, contractor performance, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Proven experience in public swimming pool or aquatic centre operations and management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and mediation skills.
- Budget control and implementation ability.
- Current C Class drivers' licence, Working with Children's Check, and First Aid Certificate.
A suitable candidate will have excellent leadership qualities, be able to motivate staff, and provide exceptional customer service. The role requires effective time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
