We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee the operation of our aquatic and health facilities.

\Job Summary:\

This is a temporary full-time opportunity with a 35-hour work week and variable day off every 19 days. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

\Main Responsibilities:\

  • Lead the safe, efficient, and community-centred operation of aquatic and health facilities.\
  • Supervise the delivery of high-quality, safe, and community-focused aquatic services.\
  • Manage contracts and service providers to ensure optimal outcomes.\
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and drive service improvements through data-driven decision making.\
    • \Requirements:\
      • \
      • Diploma qualification in Business Management, Sports and Recreation or relevant discipline.\
      • Proven experience in contract management and operation of public swimming pools or aquatic centres.\
      • Excellent customer service and communication skills.\
      • Strong negotiation and mediation skills.\
      • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.\
      • Effective budgeting and financial management skills.\
      • Hold a C Class drivers' licence, Working with Children's Check and First Aid Certificate.\
