
Pool Supervisor

This is a temporary full-time position with a 35-hour work week and variable day off every 19 days.
We are seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and community-centred operation of our aquatic and health facilities.
The role involves being present, building strong relationships with staff, contractors, and the community, and ensuring our aquatic services are welcoming, safe, and sustainable.
As a leader in operational excellence and community service, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, safe, and community-focused aquatic services, managing contracts and service providers, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of all Council-owned aquatic and health facilities
- Safe and community-focused aquatic services delivery
- Contract management and supervision
- Operational standards maintenance across the Shire
- Diploma qualification in Business Management, Sports and Recreation or relevant field
- Experience in contract management, including preparation and contractor performance evaluation
- Proven experience in public swimming pool or aquatic centre operation and management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Team management and development capabilities
- Budget implementation and control abilities
