Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Psychologist to deliver high-quality patient care across various services, including Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient, and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Services.

The Role

This permanent part-time position involves working with patients who have complex chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, and may include collaborating closely with the Metabolic Psychologists and team to support readiness for bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
  • Work across inpatient and outpatient settings and across all age ranges utilizing a broad range of clinical skills.
  • Develop and implement individual and group intervention programs to support patients' readiness for bariatric surgery.
Requirements
  • Completion of a tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Area of Practice Endorsement, if required for the role.
