Job Title: Senior Civil or Mechanical Engineer

Delivering complex water and wastewater projects is at the forefront of this role. The successful candidate will play a key part in managing project designs, developing technical skills, and building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the delivery of various NSW, Australian, and international water and wastewater projects by understanding clients' needs and providing guidance to the project team.
  • Providing technical leadership and project management to guide key projects and mentoring other team members.
  • Using technical and client relationship skills for proposals, investigations, and technical design projects.
  • Understanding client and project requirements, developing solutions, and preparing technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals and presentations.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through business development and engagement throughout project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8 or more years of relevant water or wastewater experience.
  • The ability to lead and work within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle.
  • Strong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposals.
  • Design and planning skills in water or wastewater networks or treatment, including producing technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
  • Experience with using civil or hydraulic design software and project management or design management experience.
  • A willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff.
