Sport and Exercise Science Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lecturer to join our vibrant Sport and Exercise Science team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching excellence, particularly in large service courses in exercise science and clinical exercise physiology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology and experience in research and teaching. They will be responsible for shaping innovative sport and exercise science education through curriculum design, teaching leadership, and mentoring, as well as delivering impactful research and contributing to governance and strategy within the School.

  • completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • proven track record as an effective teacher, the capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula and contribute to relevant areas of teaching.
  • sounds and established track records of research activity commensurate with the level of the position.
  • sounds leadership contributions and personal qualities that influence the development and maintenance of a positive academic environment which is conducive to high levels of engagement and standards of achievement for both staff and students.
