Miepol Pty Ltd is a well known service provider to the Civil/Construction Industry. Experienced in Civil and Construction Infrastructure, Asset Management and Traffic Management Services and also Labour Hire.

Due to our current clients increased labour demands and recent new projects awarded we are seeking experienced Traffic Controller's for an immediate start. Casual opportunities for scheduled works, on call and event/project work.

We are looking for reliable and experienced Traffic Controllers with a commitment to safety and team
- work for shifts across Melbourne Metropolitan.

**Duties will include**:

- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
- Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete required paperwork
- Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
- Report on site hazards and near misses
- Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
- Follow instructions from team leaders,
- Drive and tow, an arrow board or VMB (Visual Message Board). Inclusive of extended reversing
- Willingness to drive and operate TMA/IPV (truck mounted attenuators/impact protection vehicle)
- Control traffic pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

**Skills & Experience**
- Traffic Control Tickets (BWTM & TC)
- OH&S White card
- Drivers Licence (WA C - Class Manual)
- MANUAL Driver's licence and own reliable transport to attend work
- Availability to work, days, nights and weekends
- A minimum of 6 months Traffic Control experience
- Freeway/Asphalt/Emergency Works experience advantageous
- People who can work individually and in teams
- Safety focused people with excellent communication skills

Must have your own Radio, Wand, Day and Night shift PPE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Casual

**Salary**: $31.93 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
