Senior Business Development Manager Job Description

We're seeking an ambitious sales professional with strategic growth capabilities to lead new business opportunities across Victoria and Tasmania. This hands-on role involves executing growth strategies across multiple verticals while mentoring other team members and contributing to regional planning.

This role requires frequent travel within the VIC/TAS region, occasional interstate travel, and collaboration with clients, partners, and the wider sales team.

The Opportunity

You'll be instrumental in building Gallagher's market position by targeting, qualifying, negotiating, closing, and nurturing profitable relationships with channel partners, end users, architects, engineers, consultants, and key industry influencers.

This role must be based in Melbourne, offering autonomy and flexibility including work-from-home options and a company vehicle.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, solution sales, or account management
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex market
