
Dedicated Support Provider

As a Support Worker, you will provide personalized support to clients in their homes or the community. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, such as shopping and personal care, while promoting independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to clients based on their needs and goals
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with meal preparation and social activities
- Transport clients to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable but not essential)
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Previous experience working with older people, including those with dementia and/or complex needs (desirable but not essential)
- Empathy for older people within the community
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Understanding of WH&S issues and risk management
- COVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses)
- Comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle and current NSW driver's licence
