About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Application Architect to join our Professional Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and re-engineering applications that leverage the AWS Cloud.

As a Senior Cloud Application Architect, you will work closely with customers to design and build cloud-optimized applications that take advantage of elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation, and high availability.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from cloud migration to application development, and will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting and developing cloud-optimized applications that leverage AWS services
  • Leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies
Requirements
  • 10+ years of IT implementation experience
  • Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale
  • Experience working with customers face-to-face, driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
  • Extensive experience architecting, designing, and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment
  • Experience with designing and building applications using AWS services such as EC2, RDS, EKS
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) and hands-on familiarity with Cloud Formation
