Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect

About the Role:

As a Senior Cloud Architect at NCS Australia, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and helping our clients get the most from their technology landscape. You will leverage your problem-solving skills to help clients build and modernise their applications while also shaping requirements, designing and deploying solutions, and setting up effective engineering and quality practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- In-depth experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS Route53, S3, Cloud Formation, APIs, SDKs), with a working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency with software-defined infrastructure orchestration tools like Salt Stack or Terraform.
- Experience with immutable architectures and containerisation technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, LXC, Open VZ, or Xen.
- Expertise with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in using distributed version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with software build and release management workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
- Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- AWS Architecture or Operations Certification.
