Concrete Batch Plant Specialist

Key responsibilities for this position include overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant.
The successful candidate will operate a front-end loader and monitor automated controls to ensure correct batching proportions, ensuring all products adhere to strict quality requirements.
Effective communication with truck drivers delivering or collecting concrete is also essential, as is coordination with construction teams to align batching and pouring schedules.
- Monitor all plant and equipment, scheduling maintenance as required.
- Manage maintenance & production tasks, including manual handling.
- Quickly identify and resolve problems with equipment or mix quality to avoid project delays.
Additionally, you will be responsible for driving reliable and well-maintained equipment, loading and delivering concrete to our customers, operating and maintaining a concrete agitator truck, and general concrete plant maintenance.
Requirements:- A valid HR or HC Driver’s Licence is essential.
- Agitator truck experience is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
- A current White Card or ability to obtain one if successful.
- Front end loader ticket and experience are desirable.
- A professional work ethic and customer service oriented attitude are essential.
- A mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- A high regard for safety policies and procedures is expected.
- An excellent hourly rate plus an hourly site allowance with guaranteed minimum hours including OT.
