Job Title: Civil Roadworks Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Civil Roadworks Inspector to join our team in the Toowoomba / Darling Downs region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting the construction of roadworks projects to ensure they meet Transport and Main Roads' quality specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to inspect roadworks projects.
  • Prepare written documents, including daily diaries, submissions, reports, and test results.
  • Communicate with contractors, contract administrators, senior engineers, and principals' representatives to ensure quality of works.
  • Provide effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction, including photos.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in road construction, with at least 1-2 years as an Asphalt or Civil Inspector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management, and email.
  • Valid driver's license and access to own transport.
