Civil Roadworks Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Civil Roadworks Inspector to join our team at Civil Services Group in Toowoomba, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the construction of roadworks projects to Transport and Main Roads' quality specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to ensure quality compliance.
  • Prepare written documents, including daily diaries, submissions, reports, and test results.
  • Communicate with contractors, contract administrators, and senior engineers to ensure progress and quality of works.
  • Provide effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in road construction and at least 1-2 years as an Asphalt or Civil Inspector.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and file management.
  • Valid driver's license and access to own transport.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
