Civil Roadworks Inspector

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Roadworks Inspector to join our team at Civil Services Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the construction of roadworks projects to Transport and Main Roads' quality specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to ensure quality control.
  • Prepare written documents, including daily diaries, submissions, reports, and test results.
  • Communicate with contractors, contract administrators, and senior engineers to ensure progress and quality of works.
  • Provide effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in road construction and at least 1-2 years as an Asphalt or Civil Inspector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, and file management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Living in Toowoomba or SEQLD or willing to relocate.
  • Own laptop and mobile phone.
