We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Roadworks Inspector to join our team in the Toowoomba / Darling Downs region. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in road construction and at least 1-2 years as an Asphalt or Civil Inspector.

The purpose of this role is to inspect the construction of roadworks projects to Transport and Main Roads' (DTMR) quality specifications and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Using comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to ensure quality control.
  • Preparing written documents, including daily diaries, submissions, and reports.
  • Communicating with contractors and senior engineers to ensure progress and quality of works.
  • Providing effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction.

Mandatory requirements include a driver's license, access to own transport, and computer skills in Microsoft Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel. Preference will be given to candidates already living in Toowoomba or SEQLD, but relocation will be considered. The role is based out of Toowoomba and involves inspections throughout the region.
