Payroll Operations Lead Job Summary
This role oversees day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of fortnightly pay runs. A team lead is responsible for supervising payroll professionals and providing guidance on workload delegation, task management, and coaching. They will also assist managers with payroll requirements and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a high level of expertise in end-to-end payroll processing legislation and regulatory compliance
- Utilize Success Factors and Kronos effectively to support payroll operations
- Foster strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and team building initiatives
About You
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- At least 10 years of experience in payroll processing with a deep understanding of related legislation
- Proven knowledge of software systems like Success Factors and Kronos
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams
