
Payroll Team Lead

This is a newly created role that involves leading a team responsible for the timely payment of approximately 2700 employees on a fortnightly basis.
The payroll team leader will be responsible for maintaining the payroll system, updating records, investigating and responding to payroll queries, calculating and processing terminations, variations, salary increases and back pays, preparing superannuation and work cover deductions, and liaising with and processing salary packaging through an external provider.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Maintenance of payroll systems
- Record management

- Liaison with external providers for salary packaging
- Leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
