Job Description

Director Service Transformation and Change Role Summary:

The Department for Education, Children and Young People seeks an experienced Director to lead service transformation and change within the Child Safety and Youth Justice Operations Portfolio.

  • Lead high-impact transformation initiatives
  • Drive collaborative approaches to change
  • Provide strategic leadership in a changing political landscape

About the Role:

As Director, you will work closely with the Executive board to deliver high-quality services related to the Youth Justice Reform Blueprint and Commission of Inquiry recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic oversight and leadership
  • Stakeholder partnerships and community engagement
  • Integration of youth services and service improvement
  • Leadership of the service improvement team

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must be an experienced leader in strategy, performance planning, and business transformation.

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven management experience at a senior level
