About The Role

Band 5 - base salary from $121,231 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience

We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Steward to drive data quality and governance across the organisation, helping to uplift trust in our critical data assets and support decision-making across multiple domains.

The Role Will Focus On
  • Driving adoption of the data quality framework and data governance policies across domains.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate domain data assets, metadata, and lineage.
  • Designing, implementing, and auditing data quality rules using relevant tools.
  • Identifying, escalating, and supporting resolution of data quality issues.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and translating business needs into data quality solutions.

About You

You're a skilled communicator and influencer who thrives on building relationships and advocating for high-quality data practices. You'll also bring:
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
  • Experience managing data across multiple domains (or deep knowledge within a specific domain).
  • Ability to understand and map business needs into data quality dimensions and rules.
  • Familiarity with data catalogues and data quality tools (hands-on experience highly regarded).
  • Strong understanding of data quality dimensions and metrics.
  • Experience analysing data flows across source, upstream, and downstream systems to support rule implementation.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills with a knack for translating complex technical details into business-relevant insights.
