Job Overview:

The role of Rostering Coordinator is pivotal in managing and communicating front-line employees' shifts via the centralised rostering tool, ensuring operational stability for residents, their families, and visiting health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily master rosters to optimize existing employees' work availability with minimal shift disruptions, including handling sickness and leave requests.
  • Manage backfilling and casual workforce optimisation, requesting and managing labour hire workforce.
  • Collaborate with the corporate rostering team to ensure rostering system data is accurate and up-to-date, enabling forecasting for better resource management.
  • Lead interactions with staff on site regarding fortnightly allocations, roster changes, picking up additional shifts, and communication of available/new shifts.
  • Train and manage user access to our timekeeping system, troubleshooting, and welcoming new employees.
  • Maintain confidential rostering information as per company policies and code of conduct expectations.
Essential Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in staff rostering is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail via phone, email, and in person are essential.
  • A valid NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.
  • Experience with Roster 'Bid Manager' tools that communicate online extra shifts is highly regarded.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain) is necessary for working in the Aged Care sector.
