Job Title: Conflict Resolution Expert

About the Role:

  • We seek a skilled professional to review disputes not yet listed for conference, ensuring decisions are sustainable and technically sound.
  • The successful candidate will provide a strategy on how to best resolve and/or progress the dispute, focusing on resolving it without the need for a conciliation conference.
  • This role involves proactively engaging with employers, the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) and employee representatives to facilitate the early resolution of disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role requires ensuring tasks are completed and systems updated within set timeframes.
  • Superior customer service levels must be provided to all parties, identifying solutions that meet our business objectives.
  • Conciliation and dispute resolution practices must be in accordance with our requirements.
  • If required, the successful candidate will formally represent us at conciliation conferences.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Technical Manager, Eligibility Specialist or Senior Case Manager is required.
  • Experience in the workers compensation scheme, specifically Case Management, Eligibility and/or Technical Management, is highly desirable.
