We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Conflict Resolution Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in resolving disputes and finding mutually beneficial solutions for all parties involved.

About the Role

The Conflict Resolution Specialist will be responsible for representing our organization throughout the conciliation process, determining fair outcomes for disputed matters relating to workers' compensation claims. This will involve meeting with injured workers, conciliators, panel members, and legal representatives to facilitate courteous and customer-focused engagement and drive fair outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent our organization at conciliation conferences, ensuring that all parties are heard and understood.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of disputed matters to determine fair outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve disputes and find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and legal representatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure that our organization is compliant and informed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Business, or a related field (desired but not essential).
  • A current and valid Driver's License.
